Privacy Policy

Updated October 6, 2026. StitchNKnit: Crochet & Knitting ("StitchNKnit", "we") is built to keep your makes yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, or the identifier Apple or Google shares when you sign in with them, plus the name and avatar you choose.
• Your making: projects, row counts, notes, stash, saved patterns, badges and preferences, so they sync across your devices and are backed up.
• What you share: photos and words you post to the community, and makealongs you join.
• Helper requests: questions you ask Purl, photos you send to Stitch Doctor or label scanning, and patterns you import, so we can answer them.
• Purchases: your subscription status from the App Store or Google Play, through our billing partner RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
• Usage analytics: only when you leave Usage analytics on in Settings, and never linked to advertising.

How we use it

To run the app, sync and back up your work, answer your questions, show your community posts, keep the community kind, and improve StitchNKnit. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who helps us

• Cloudflare hosts our servers, database, file storage, email and AI processing.
• Anthropic may process helper requests when Claude powers the crew.
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google handle subscriptions.

Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Your choices

• Export everything any time: Settings, Privacy & data, Export everything.
• Delete your account in the app: Settings, Account, Delete account. Your account, projects, posts and photos are removed from our servers.
• Turn reminders, analytics and personalized picks on or off in Settings.

Children

StitchNKnit is for makers aged 13 and older.
